Romney Wins Puerto Rico Primary

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (TheStreet) -- Republican front-runner Mitt Romney scored an overwhelming victory in Puerto Rico's presidential primary Sunday.

The contest marked a defeat for Romney's major rival, former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum.

Taking more than 50% of the vote, Romney won all 20 delegates to the national convention that were at stake in the U.S. island territory, the Associated Press.

The focus of the race for the Republican presidential nomination now shifts to Illinois and Louisiana, which hold their primaries Tuesday and Saturday, respectively.
