Jobless Claims Rise 8,000 to 362,000

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits rose 8,000 to 362,000, according to the Labor Department.

Economists polled by Thomson Reuters expected jobless claims to fall to 350,000.
