Comcast Increases Dividend And Share Repurchases

Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA, CMCSK), a leading media, entertainment and communications company, announced today that it increased its dividend by 44% to $0.65 per share on an annualized basis. In accordance with the increase, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.1625 a share on the company’s common stock, payable on April 25, 2012 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 4, 2012.

Today, Comcast also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new $6.5 billion stock repurchase program, with $3.0 billion to be repurchased during 2012, subject to market conditions.
