UQM Technologies CFO Donald French To Discuss Strategic Outlook And Company Accomplishments At The Jefferies 2012 Global Clean Technology Conference

UQM Technologies, Inc. ( NYSE Amex: UQM) Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Donald A. French, will present at the 2012 Jefferies Global Clean Technology Conference in New York City on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 3:15 p.m.

“I am looking forward providing insight on the volume production launch of our PowerPhase Pro ® electric motors, the next generation of products under development, and the future direction of our technology at the 2012 Jefferies Global Clean Technology Conference,” said Donald A. The Jefferies 2012 Global Clean Technology Conference takes place February 22-23, 2012, in New York City. The conference brings together keynote speakers, panel discussions and presentations from select companies making an impact in the clean technology spectrum. Relationships are established to help investors identify promising near- and long-term investment opportunities and discuss clean trends globally.

UQM began volume production on its PowerPhase Pro ® electric motors and controllers for CODA Automotive and other potential customers last fall, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and development.

The company was recently recognized for its PowerPhase Select ® 145 electric propulsion system that powered the Goldfish 23 all-electric eFUSION boat to win Boat of the Year Award for Innovation at the Dusseldorf Boat Show. Working with ReGen Nautic, UQM has expanded into electric and hybrid propulsion systems for marine applications.

Additionally, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded $3 million to UQM for the development of non-rare-earth magnet electric motors for use in electric and hybrid electric vehicles. UQM will cost-share 25 percent of the $4 million effort under the development program. This research and cooperation continues 35 years of innovation at UQM.
