(NYSE AMEX: LAQ) (the "Fund"), a closed-end equity fund, announced today that it will pay a dividend of US$1.92275 per share on January 13, 2012 to all shareholders of record as of December 30, 2011. This distribution is comprised of $0.58791 per share of net investment income, $0.10894 per share of net realized short-term capital gains and $1.22590 per share of net realized long-terms capital gains. In January 2012, a Form 1099-DIV will be sent to shareholders, which will state the amount and composition of distributions and provide information with respect to their appropriate tax treatment for the 2011 calendar year.
