KMG Chemicals, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: KMGB), a global provider of specialty chemicals in carefully focused markets, today announced the retirement of Tom Mitchell, and the promotions of Mike Hoffman, Bart Pitcock, and Eric Tribolet.

Mr. Mitchell, Vice President of Sales for KMG-Bernuth Inc., will retire on December 31, 2011 after 22 years with KMG. He will continue as a consultant to assist in the transition of KMG’s Wood Treating Chemicals business to its new executive leadership.

In association with Mr. Mitchell’s retirement, Mike Hoffman has been promoted to Vice President & General Manager, Wood Treating Chemicals. Mr. Hoffman joined KMG in 2008 as Director of Marketing, following KMG’s acquisition of the electronic chemicals business from Air Products and Chemicals Inc. Prior to joining Air Products and Chemicals, Mr. Hoffman held various commercial and business development positions at the electronic chemicals business unit of Ashland Chemicals, Inc., where he supervised the division’s technical support organization and led growth initiatives for new market and product development.

Bart Pitcock was promoted to Vice President & General Manager, Electronic Chemicals, North America from General Manager, North America, and Eric Tribolet was promoted to Vice President & General Manager, Europe & Middle East from General Manager, Europe & Middle East. Mr. Pitcock and Mr. Tribolet joined KMG in 2008 following the electronic chemicals acquisition from Air Products and Chemicals. Mr. Pitcock, a 20-year veteran of the electronic chemicals industry, has held a variety of commercial positions during his career, including roles in purchasing, business development, marketing and sales management. Mr. Tribolet has held various commercial and technical management positions during his 15 years of electronic chemicals experience, including Global Business Manager, Global Account Manager and Product Manager.
