Gas prices in Arizona are continuing a slow but steady decline.

According to AAA, the statewide average price Monday for a gallon of regular unleaded gas was $3.33. Thatâ¿¿s down a penny per gallon from a week ago, and 6 cents from a month ago.

The most expensive gas in Arizona, according to AAA, is in Flagstaff ($3.56), while the least expensive is in Tucson ($3.21).

Despite the falling prices of late, prices are a fair amount higher than the average a year ago in Arizona: $2.76.

Arizonaâ¿¿s record-high average gas price was set June 20, 2008, at $4.11 per gallon.
