Zachry Nuclear Engineering Inc. has purchased Numerical Applications Inc., a company that develops engineering software.

Numerical Applications (NAI) also provides a full-range of engineering analysis services, including thermal hydraulic, radiological, chemical and safety solutions. The company developed the nuclear software GOTHIC, CentralStor and RADTRAD-NAI. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

NAI will function as a division of Zachry Nuclear Engineering Inc., which is a subsidiary of San Antonio-based Zachry Holdings Inc.

Mark Mills, president of Zachry Nuclear Engineering, says NAI is a welcomed addition to the Zachry family.

Privately held Zachry provides engineering, construction and maintenance of large industrial projects across the United States. Zachry has offices throughout the country and employs more than 15,000 workers. The companyâ¿¿s projects include traditional and renewable power plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries and nuclear plants. NAI has offices in Richland, Wash., and Cary, N.C.
