Reservoir Group Acquires GeoSearch Logging

Reservoir Group, an international oil field services company, has acquired GeoSearch Logging Inc., an Oklahoma-based geological and hydrocarbon well logging company.

GeoSearch will join Reservoir Groupâ¿¿s surface logging services, part of the Houston-based Empirica brand, a group of companies focused on surface logging. With the acquisition of GeoSearch, Empirica will have more than 150 units and more than 450 employees.

All 232 employees at GeoSearch will remain in business at its 12 locations across the U.S.

Reservoir Group is backed by Houston-based SCF Partners, a private equity firm specializing in the oil and gas industry. Within the past year, Reservoir has acquired five companies.
