Arizona Public Service Co. will provide green power to light up Arizona State Universityâ¿¿s homecoming game this weekend.

The power will be provided for Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe on Oct. 29 using only renewable resources. Officials said the 125,000 kilowatt-hours of power will be enough for that game as well as the remaining games for the Sun Devils.

APS has provided green power for several sporting events, including Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns games. ASU has been developing its own solar resources and has about 10 megawatts of solar power on its four campuses.

ASU and APS have teamed three times previously for green games at Sun Devil Stadium.
