Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region will announce today a $15,000 grant from the National Grid Foundation to expand the nonprofitâ¿¿s childrenâ¿¿s programs.

The announcement is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at Trinityâ¿¿s offices at 15 Trinity Place in Albany, New York.

Harris Oberlander, Trinityâ¿¿s CEO, said the money will be used to expand an after-school program, and its evening and summer camp programs.

Trinity Alliance was created in November 2010 by merging the Arbor Hill Community Center with Trinity Institution, which mainly serves the cityâ¿¿s South End neighborhood. The community services organization operates with an annual budget of about $3.5 million.
