NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- President Barack Obama was expected to pitch his jobs plan to states in the West starting Monday, a week after the president took a bus tour through North Carolina and Virginia to push his plan to East Coast audiences. Obama will begin in Las Vegas and work his way towards Los Angeles, where he will speak at a couple of campaign events and appear on the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.
ABC News reported that the president will also brandish his jobs plan with the new slogan "We Can't Wait." "The President is calling on Congress to pass the American Jobs Act to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, give working families a tax break, and put teachers back in our classrooms and cops on the beat," according to a statement from the White House. -- Written by Joe Deaux in New York. >To contact the writer, click here: Joe Deaux. >To follow the writer on Twitter, go to: http://twitter.com/JoeDeaux. >To submit a news tip, send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
