Dallas Gas Task Force Seeks Public Input

The Dallas Gas Drilling Task Force will hold a public meeting Thursday to take input on its review of City of Dallas gas drilling zoning and permitting ordinances.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in Auditorium L1F of the Dallas City Hall.

The Dallas City Council formed the task force in the spring to review studies about gas productionâ¿¿s environmental and safety effects and to recommend possible changes to city ordinances.

The task force has been meeting regularly since July 2011 and expects to make recommendations by the end of the year.
