Energy Transfer Partners (NYSE: ETP) announced that it will build a new processing plant in the Barnett Shale and a 117-mile pipeline in Oklahoma as part of a deal with Fort Worth-based XTO Energy.

Dallas-based ETP said Thursday that it has signed a long-term, fee-based deal to provide gas gathering, processing and transportation services for XTO, a subsidiary of Irving-based Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) in the Barnett Shale of North Texas and the Woodford Shale of Oklahoma.

The new cryogenic processing plant will be capable of processing 200 million cubic feet of gas per day and will be located at ETPâ¿¿s Godley processing facility in Johnson County.
