Biotech companies from the Seattle area top the list of Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 ranking for Washington and Idaho. But software and real estate companies also place high on the super-growth tally.

The accounting and advisory firmâ¿¿s Technology Fast 500 list, which ranks North American telecom, clean tech, biotech, software and other tech companies by growth rate from fiscal years 2006 to 2010, includes 23 Washington companies with exceptional growth rates. One company's revenue increased more than 25,000 percent. The Deloitte LLP list also includes a company from Idaho, Clearwater Analytics LLC, based in Boise.
