San Antonio drivers can expect to pay four cents more on average, or $3.29 per gallon, to fill up their cars and trucks this weekend.

Retail gas prices rose an average of 10 cents per gallon throughout Texas over the past week to $3.34, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch. Nationwide, drivers are paying $3.47 on average per gallon.

Market analysts attribute the gasoline price increase to growth in crude oil demand on the commodities markets. Optimism among commodities brokers can be attributed to the steps European leaders are taking to address economic uncertainty, AAA analysts say.
