Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority officials received a $24.4 million loan from the Texas Water Development Boardâ¿¿s clean-water state revolving fund to help the local agency finance wastewater system improvements.

Cibolo Creek will expand and upgrade its regional water reclamation plant from 6.2 million gallons per day to 9 million gallons per day in order to meet the increasing demand from customers. Cibolo Creek will also replace two major lift stations.

Cibolo Creek spans across portions of Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe counties. It provides sewer service to the cities of Schertz and Cibolo, parts of Live Oak, Universal City, San Antonio and Selma and Randolph Air Force Base. The agency serves a population of 63,810 through 33,233 sewer connections.
