NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- The "Occupy Wall Street" movement moved uptown Saturday, as thousands of protesters demonstrating against corporate greed converged on New York's Time Square in the evening.The Associated Press reported a "chaotic scene" of protesters, tourists, Broadway showgoers and police in the popular entertainment district. Police attempted to push protesters out of the square and onto sidewalks to control the crowd, the AP added. > > Bull or Bear? Vote in Our Poll The protesters had marched north from Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village on Saturday afternoon. Police said they arrested five people wearing masks during the march and three others in Times Square who tried to take down barricades, the AP said. Earlier, on Saturday morning, protesters had entered a Citibank branch near Washington Square Park. Two dozen were arrested on trespassing charges after they refused to leave the bank, and another was arrested on a charge of resisting arrest, the AP added.
