NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Charlie's Angels had its wings clipped by ABC, with the series cancelled after just four episodes.

The network decided to axe the revamp of the 1970s classic, despite seeing an 8% jump in the 18-49 demographic this week.

Charlie's Angels joins the list of early cancellations, which include The Playboy Club, Free Agents and H8R.
