Gas prices fell another 2 cents per gallon in Tennessee last week, according to AAA Auto Club South.

Some positive economic news helped the price of crude oil rise to $82.98 a barrel on Friday, but that should not cause prices to rise at the pump, the agency said. Oil prices were helped by a U.S. Labor Department showing Septemberâ¿¿s payrolls increased by 103,000 workers, up from an initial growth forecast of 60,000.

The average price of regular unleaded gasoline in Tennessee is $3.203, down from $3.225 last week, according to AAA. Nationally, the average price of unleaded gas fell 3 cents to $3.39 a gallon.
