Houston motorists will notice another drop in gasoline prices when they fill up this week.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded fell 7 cents to $3.14, according to AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch. Galveston motorists will see a 6-cent dip to $3.18 a gallon.

Overall in Texas, gasoline prices are down an average of 7 cents to $3.20, while the national average declined 6 cents to $3.39 per gallon.

Fueling the falling the gas prices is less demand for crude oil, which in return causes oil futures to become a less attractive investment and then prices to go down, AAA reported.
