NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Steve Jobs' biography is seeing a spike in pre-orders following the death of the iconic innovator. The book now appears on the top of Amazon's ( AMZN) bestseller list and is No. 3 on Barnes & Noble's ( BKS)top 100 list. According to Amazon's Movers & Shakers list, the book has seen a 43,600% spike in sales over the past 24 hours. Of course, it is also No. 1 on Apple's ( AAPL) own iBookstore. Simon & Schuster will now release the biography, written by Walter Isaacson, on Oct. 24. It was originally slated to hit shelves on Nov. 21. The book, simply titled "Steve Jobs," includes interviews between Isaacson and Jobs.
