'Arrested Development' May Find Home on Netflix

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Netflix ( NFLX) could revive the canceled comedy Arrested Development.

The short-lived series is reportedly in talks with both Netflix and Showtime regarding airing a limited number of new episodes.
Arrested Development TV Show

Arrested Development , which starred Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Portia DeRossi, ended on Fox in 2006.

The nine or 10 episodes would serve as a walk-up to an Arrested Development movie, show creator Mitchell Hurwitz said during the New Yorker Festival Sunday in New York.

This comes as Netflix has been seeking compelling content to add to its streaming library.
