AAA Says Gas Prices To Fall

By Orlando Business Journal

Gas prices should decrease again next week as crude oil prices continue to decline, AAA Auto Club South reports. Oil prices fell further after reports showed Chinaâ¿¿s manufacturing index dropped for a third month in a row, while European retail sales declined last month and U.S. consumer spending continues to slow. Fuel demand is weak, with consumers cutting back on spending and travel. Crude oil settled Friday at $79.20 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchangeâ¿¿65 cents less than the week prior.

The national average price of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.42 per gallon, 8 cents less than last week. Floridaâ¿¿s average price is $3.39.

The price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in metro Orlando currently averages $3.32, down 7 cents from a week ago.
