Coverage of Asia Entertainment & Resources Ltd ( AERL) began on August 9th with an initial recommendation of 'Hold'. $21.2 million of Asia Entertainment's $55.2 million in second quarter revenue flowed down to the bottom line as profit from its MGM Grand-Macau and Galaxy Star World Casino-Macau VIP gaming promotion operations. The company has enough confidence in its earnings to announce a $0.10 per share semi-annual dividend and the formula the company intends to use to calculate future dividend payments of 15% of non-GAAP net income less the prior 6-month dividend divided by outstanding shares.
