Pinnacle Speakers and SED International, Inc. (Amex: SED) today announced that they have signed a definitive national distribution agreement under which SED will distribute Pinnacle Speakers. The initial focus of the partnership is on audiophile speaker bars and powered subwoofers in the custom install, home integration, rent to own and international markets where SED can leverage its established networks and existing customer base.

Pinnacle Speakers specializes in audiophile home speakers with over 100 products, including speaker bars, powered subwoofers, in-wall / in-ceiling and speakers in cabinets, priced from affordable to ultra high-end. SED is a multinational supply chain management provider and distributor of leading computer technology, consumer electronics and small appliances products.

“We are delighted to add SED International to our family of distributors,” said Mickey Rothenberg, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Through SED’s extensive network, the Pinnacle brand will now be introduced to new markets where we previously had limited or no exposure. In addition, Pinnacle and SED share a service-oriented philosophy. At Pinnacle our values are underscored by our family-owned and operated company, which we see as similar to the manner in which SED values deep relationships with their customers. We look forward to building on our partnership with SED to extend the Pinnacle brand.”

Jonathan Elster, SED President & CEO said, “We continue to see sizeable demand for quality home theater and accessory products. Pinnacle Speakers broadens our offerings in this higher margin category and we are delighted to expand Pinnacle Speakers’ reach through our established national network of dealers.”
