Pageflex, a division of Bitstream Inc. ( NASDAQ: BITS, and a leading developer of enterprise variable data publishing and web-to-print solutions, today announced the appointment of Elly Perets as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Perets will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of the entire Pageflex product line, including Pageflex Storefront, Pageflex iWay, Pageflex Server, and Pageflex Campaign Manager. Mr. Perets will be based in the company's office in Israel, and will report directly to Pageflex General Manager, Pinhas Romik who was appointed in March, 2011.

In this newly created role, Mr. Perets will be responsible for managing all of the functions that support the company’s goals for growth and market development. He will oversee the direct selling effort for all products, as well as the management of the company's relationships with OEM partners, including Xerox and HP. In addition, Mr. Perets will be responsible for driving the company's marketing strategy, helping expand the reach of Pageflex products into new regions.

Mr. Perets is a seasoned marketer with experience in range of areas, including strategic market development, managing OEM relations, and administering sales programs. Prior to joining Pageflex, Mr. Perets held the position as Projects Director at the Goldratt Group, expanding and implementing their TOC (Theory of Constraints) projects. In addition, Mr. Perets was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Press-sense Ltd., the company that developed and marketed what is now Pageflex iWay.
