LONDON ( TheStreet) -- AstraZeneca ( AZN) said Wednesday it agreed to sell its Astra Tech dental business to Dentsply ( XRAY) for about $1.8 billion in cash. Astra Tech, based in Moelndal, Sweden, had revenue of about $535 million in 2010. It has two divisions -- a dental division which makes dental implants, and a health care division that makes medical devices for urology and surgery. The deal is expected to be completed during the second half of 2011.
