NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Bankrate ( RATE) said its initial public offering of 20 million common shares was priced at $15 a share, in the middle of its indicative range.

This is Bankrate's second trip to the IPO market. It was a public company for 10 years before Ben Holdings, which is advised by Apax Holdings, took the company private in a $571 million deal in 2009.

Bankrate provides personal finance information such as mortgage rates and online calculators.

Bankrate, in a statement, said it is offering 12.5 million common shares, while certain shareholders are offering 7.5 million shares.

The stock begins trading Friday on the New York Stock Exchange.
