Specifically, Stehlin will participate on the panel entitled, “New Backhaul Opportunities for Alternative Access Vendors (AAVs),” at 1:50 p.m. This panel will cover how alternative access vendors and multiservice operators (MSOs) are playing a much larger role in building out backhaul capacity for the mass market 3G and 4G era. This session will also look at the business models and technology solutions that alternative wholesalers are pursing and how they are positioning their capabilities to meet the increasingly demanding SLAs of the wireless carriers.

Stehlin has over 20 years of telecom industry experience in executive management, product management, marketing and sales strategy and mergers and acquisitions. At MRV OCS, he is responsible for leading the company’s global sales and marketing.

Light Reading’s Backhaul Strategies conference will focus primarily on the progress that wireless operators are making in transitioning their backhaul networks in order to dramatically increase volumes and types of data traffic, as well as debate new challenges that are emerging in the backhaul domain.
