Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:FLXT) ( http://www.flexpoint.com) announced receipt of a purchase order for production tooling and molds to be used in the construction of enclosure devices for their patented bend sensor ®. This is the result of a long period of development and testing of activation devices that significantly expand the scope of use of the sensor in varied applications.

The sensors, featuring Flexpoint’s patented Bend Sensor ® technology, will detect whether a seat is occupied or unoccupied and will be effective in many different uses.

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint Sensor System, stated, “We are pleased to be able to announce this new production order. I believe that these sensors will replace many of the current applications for occupancy sensors and will open many new areas of use for the sensor. We currently have a purchase order from Intertek Industrial Corporation and two other companies waiting for production of the sensor in this format, so that it can be tested and approved in their applications. I believe that this will lead to additional ongoing purchases of a significant number of sensors during the upcoming year and continuing thereafter.”
