, Inc. (Nasdaq: TST ( TheStreet)), announced today that the company has been recognized as one of the top 10 fastest-growing Web sites based on unique visitors as tracked by the leading global digital measurement organization comScore, Inc. With measured March sequential growth of 32%, TheStreet ranks among leading media organizations such as the BBC and emerging web properties Zynga and LivingSocial.

The data is included in the March monthly analysis of U.S. web activity at the top online properties as measured by the comScore Media Metrix service among the largest 250 sites visited that month.

Daryl Otte, CEO of TheStreet commented, “Everyone here at TheStreet is gratified that comScore’s rankings reflect the momentum we feel in our business. We attribute these audience gains to our investments recently in professional, highly focused editorial content that deeply engages our users and in the state-of-the-art technological infrastructure that makes that content available to broader and broader audiences. We believe strongly in a virtuous cycle of vertical media – if you produce and present great content, it will attract an avid and engaged audience. This large, quality audience can then be effectively monetized through both advertising and subscriptions. This monetization then gives us the resources to invest further in our editorial content and technology, while driving returns for investors.” Otte added, “We are proud to be recognized among these other leading web destinations.”
