REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 2, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leader in cloud-based social business solutions, today announced a partnership with business solutions provider ethosIQ, positioning ethosIQ as a Clearvale PaasPort reseller. Among its suite of offerings, ethosIQ provides its clients with products and services to help architect and manage call center services, mobile development, web services, social media, IT solutions and strategies.

Clearvale PaasPort, the unique platform-as-a-service solution, enables companies like ethosIQ to resell their own "social business cloud" based on Clearvale Enterprise, BroadVision's enterprise social network. Clearvale, a social network designed for the enterprise, allows for the creation and management of multiple networks designed for collaboration and communication.

With this partnership, ethosIQ will offer a social business cloud by reselling BroadVisionĀ® Clearvale TM social networking capabilities, in tandem with its products and services, to its own customers. Being a PaasPort reseller will allow ethosIQ to provide new, cloud-based enterprise services that it would otherwise not be able to offer. As a PaasPort reseller, ethosIQ will be able to remain competitive with other business solutions providers who are unable to offer a similar platform of unified communications.

"We've known for a long time that for call centers to remain effective, they must integrate a social layer that enables unified communications that includes, but is not limited to traditional data, such as voice," said Scott Walker, CEO of ethosIQ. "As a Clearvale PaasPort reseller, we can now offer our clients a wide range of social functionality via Clearvale solutions, over the cloud and intertwined with our own offerings giving our clients an extremely aggressive return on investment. Also, adding BroadVision into the ethosIQ "ethosphere" of solutions is intended to support high-performance computing for our clients in two distinct ways: First, it is intended to provide a very high-performance, low-latency core that is capable of providing a rich variety of social data in real-time or near-real-time. The second key area is the global availability of Clearvale. This is considered to be one of the key aspects of adding solutions into the ethosphere."

In addition to being a reseller, ethosIQ will be using Clearvale internally.

" Clearvale allows our sales rep to take advantage of the same social functionality we'll be offering our clients as a PaasPort reseller; collaboration and communication over the cloud," said Walker.
