Investors Title Co. Stock Upgraded By TheStreet Ratings (ITIC)

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Investors Title (Nasdaq: ITIC) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, compelling growth in net income, attractive valuation levels and impressive record of earnings per share growth. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had lackluster performance in the stock itself.

Investors Title Company, through its subsidiaries, provides title insurance, as well as tax-deferred real property exchange services in the United States. The company has a P/E ratio of 11.6, below the average insurance industry P/E ratio of 17 and below the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 23.2. Investors Title has a market cap of $73.6 million and is part of the financial sector and insurance industry. Shares are up 5.6% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday.
