Environmental compliance company Encompas LLC has closed its merger with Environmental Analytics.

David Spath, spokesman for Deer Park-based Encompas, said the new company will have gross revenue of about $40 million.

Both companies are national providers of LDAR monitoring and environmental compliance service for the petroleum industry.

LDAR, or leak detection and repair, services identify and repair leaks at a petrochemical plant. LDAR programs are mandated by the Clean Air Act.

The new business will be located in Deer Park. All 500 current employees of both companies will be part of the new company, Encompas said in a statement.
