Goldman Execs Get Salary Bump

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Goldman Sachs' CEO Lloyd Blankfein is getting a sweet raise, even though the bank reported a plunge in profit.

Blankfein will get a base pay of $2 million effective Jan 1, up from $600,000, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The salary raise is in addition $12.6 million in stock Blankfein was awarded.

Blankfein wasn't the only executive to get a raise at Goldman Sachs. CFO David Viniar and COO Gary Cohn's base salaries were boosted to $1.85 million from $600,000.

Goldman reported 2010 earnings of $8.35 billion, down 37 percent from 2009.
