Endicott Finds Home For Biorefinery

By Houston Business Journal

Endicott Biofuels LLC will build a biorefinery with KMTEX Ltd. in Port Arthur.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the Houston-based company said that equity funding for the project would come from Haddington Ventures LLC.

Houston-based Haddington gave Endicott $40 million back in 2007 to fund a biodiesel and bio-derived products plant.

As part of the latest deal, KMTEX will host Endicott and provide certain construction and operational services.

Construction on the 30-million gallon-per-year biorefinery is expected to begin this month.
