January 2011

A Jan. 14 article titled CBS to Air U.S. Open Through 2014 misattributed a quote to CBS (CBS) News and Sports president Sean McManus. The quote, "The key for us, and they agreed, was to keep the women's finals in prime time," was made by Harlan Stonetold, U.S. Tennis Association chief business and marketing officer. TheStreet regrets the error. (Corrected Jan. 18)

A Jan. 19 article, Goldman Earnings Drop as Trading Slows, originally reported an incorrect figure for Goldman Sachs' ( GS) net income for the fourth quarter. Goldman posted net earnings of $2.39 billion, not $3.79 million. The investment bank earned $3.79 a share in the fourth quarter. TheStreet regrets the error. ( Corrected Jan. 19)
