NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Wednesday evening.

Sprint Nextel ( S): "Interesting speculation, but I really like Verizon ( VZ) for its growth and yield."

Lowes ( LOW): "Lowes is now where Home Depot ( HD) was. I'll take Lowes over Home Depot right here."

Citigroup ( C): "I think Citigroup is terrific. It crossed $5 a share today. Earnings are great. I see huge percentage gains in Citi. I say buy, buy, buy."

Panera Bread ( PNRA): "I think Panera, like Chipotle Mexican Grill ( CMG), has food with integrity. Below $90 I'd pull the trigger."

Deckers Outdoor ( DECK): "This is one of my FADS CAN stocks. I think it's the cheapest of that group and I think Deckers is going much, much higher."
