GE bought London-based Remote Energy Monitoring Ltd. for an undisclosed amount.

Remote Energy Monitoringâ¿¿s software and hardware technologies allow consumers and utilities to better monitor and manage their energy usage. GE (NYSE: GE) said the acquisition helps it meet the European Unionâ¿¿s goals for a lower-emission, higher efficiency energy infrastructure.
