Sunoco To Run Garden State Parkway Gas Stations

Sunoco Inc. said Monday it has reached an agreement with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and Getty Petroleum Marketing Inc. to run the nine fuel stations at the Garden State Parkwayâ¿¿s service plazas for six years starting this month and ending December 2016.

The stations had been run by Getty parent Lukoil.

Philadelphia-based Sunoco also said its agreement to operate two fuel stations on the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey has been extended through December 2015.

Sunoco (NYSE:SUN) sells gasoline, refines oil and owns 31 percent of Sunoco Logistics Partners LP (NYSE:SXL), a publicly traded partnership that owns and operates pipelines and terminals for crude oil and refined petroleum products.
