(Information on the oil leak in Alaska and the Motorola Atrix updated in today's Hot Trends article.)

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- "Heating oil prices" is a trending search topic today after an 800-mile pipeline in Alaska, owned by BP ( BP) and four other companies, was shut down due to a leak.

The pipeline, which carries up to 650,000 barrels of oil each day, was shut down on Saturday after a leak was reported.

Ownership of the Alyeska Pipeline Service managed pipeline is shared by BP, ConocoPhillips ( COP), ExxonMobil ( XOM), Chevron ( CVX) and Koch Alaska Pipeline.

Oil prices shot up to above $89 a barrel following the news.

Atrix is a hot search topic today after the new Motorola ( MOT) gadget impressed consumers at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year.

Motorola's Atrix 4G is a new Android-based phone that will launch on AT&T's ( T) network.

The device features 1 gigabyte of memory, a fingerprint reader and high definition video capture. It hooks up to an HD dock with USB ports, HDMI connections and speakers as well as a laptop dock with an 11.6 inch screen, full keyboard and speakers.

"Stock market" is a heavily searched topic as U.S. stock futures were lower on Monday after Friday's release of disappointing December job data.

Job growth in December came in below expectations on Friday, despite a better-than-expected unemployment rate of 9.4%.

There are no U.S. economic reports scheduled for Monday's session. Earnings season unofficially kicks off after the close of trading today with fourth-quarter results from Alcoa ( AA). Analysts expect earnings of 19 cents per share, up from a penny per share one year ago.

Unifirst ( UNF) is a hot search topic today following last night's episode of CBS's ( CBS) reality television show Undercover Boss, in which the company's president and CEO Ronald Croatti posed as an employee of his own company.

UniFirst provides and cleans uniforms, work wear and protective clothing for both small and large companies. Croatti pretended to be an employee named Mike Daniels. He worked alongside his own employees, and found many of their day to day manual labor tasks difficult.

In previous episodes of Undercover Boss, CBS has featured Chicago Cubs co-owner Todd Ricketts and Republic Airways' ( RJET) Frontier Airlines CEO Bryan Bedford. The show airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
