NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Apple's ( AAPL) Mac App Store downloads topped 1 million in its first day, the company announced in a press release. The store has more than 1,000 free and paid apps. Shares of Apple rose 0.08% in pre-market trading Friday to $334.00. Dell ( DELL) unveiled several new tablets and a smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show on Thursday. The company announced a Google ( GOOG) Android-powered tablet, the Streak 7, with a seven-inch touch screen, which will go on sale soon. The company also teased a 10-inch version geared toward business users, but didn't provide any other details. Dell already sells a Streak tablet with a five-inch screen. Shares of Dell were down 0.21% in per-market trading Friday to $14.23. Salesforce.com ( CRM) has acquired web conferencing company Dimdim for $31 million. Dimdim will provide Salesforce's business-focused social networking service Chatter with real-time messaging and collaboration technology. Shares of Salesforce fell 0.22% in pre-market trading Friday to $143.02. Skype announced Thursday it acquired mobile video streaming company Qik for a reported $100 million. Skype will use Qik's technology to help boost its video offerings by adding recording, sharing and storing capabilities. The Redwood City, Calif.-based Qik, founded in 2006, has 60 employees. Facebook will be forced to disclose its financials or go public by April 2012, according to reports.
