Quidel Corporation (NASDAQ: QDEL) announced today a proposed underwritten public offering by the Company of 4,000,000 common shares, subject to market and other conditions. The Company also intends to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 600,000 common shares solely to cover over-allotments.
