By Houston Business Journal

Chinese rigging and sling maker Juli Sling Co. Ltd. has established itself in Houston as J&L Offshore LLC.

The company has named Harry Urech as executive vice president to lead the office, located at CityCentre One in the Energy Corridor. He previously held executive positions at Usha Martin Americas, Franklin Offshore Americas and InterMoor.

J&L Offshore will specialize in new equipment and services for the offshore oil industry as well as rig moving, subsea installation and project engineering.

The companyâ¿¿s initial presence will be in the form of a small sales and marketing office, according to Urech, who could not say yet how many jobs ultimately would be created.
