Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced a pair of new contracts Tuesday -- one for work in Idaho and another for work in Canada.

The domestic contract came from Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corp. for a project that will cost $300 million to $500 million total.

Jacobs didnâ¿¿t say what the cost of its portion of the project -- at a nuclear reactor facility in Idaho -- is likely to be.

This work is part of the Naval Reactors Facility mission, which works on nuclear propulsion systems for ships and submarines.

Bechtel Marine is part of San Francisco-based Bechtel Corp.

The other contract came from North Atlantic Refining Ltd. for turnaround and small capital work services at the company's refinery in Newfoundland, Canada.

North Atlantic is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvest Operations Corp., which is wholly-owned by the Korea National Oil Corp.

Pasadena-based Jacobs (NYSE: JEC) is one of the world's largest providers of technical, professional and construction services.
