New Mexico Software, Inc. (OTCBB: NMXC) announced today that the company’s XR-EXpress service is now available through iPhone™ and iPod touch™. The software is the company’s first medical Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) compatible with Apple’s Smart Phones and portable devices through the Apple App Store™ and can be quickly and easily downloaded without a charge. An iPad™ application is planned for mid November. CEO Dick Govatski said, “Our new application for the iPhone™ and iPod touch™ significantly enhances the usability and mobility of our XR-EXpress service to our customers. Users are no longer tied to a desk or a PC in order to use XR-EXpress in an emergency or on a busy day or when out of the office or traveling. This is part of our ongoing commitment to make XR-EXpress as convenient and user friendly as possible. We are currently working on an iPad™ application that we expect to have ready before Thanksgiving.” All current customers of TeleRad Service and XR-EXpress users can immediately download the application from the Apple Apps Store™ and begin using it with their current login and password. The application is available at the Apple App Store™ as XR-EXpress. Software version iOS 4.1 or later is required. The application works seamlessly with the web version.
