Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: AAII) announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract under the Small Business Acquisition & Sustainment Tool solicitation (SbAST) from the United States Air Force, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WRALC). SbAST is a contract vehicle intended to meet the acquisition and sustainment support needs for all Air Force operated systems, sub systems or components not in new development. SbAST includes maintenance, modification, enhancement and spares support. AAII is one of five contractors awarded the new five-year program that is a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract worth an estimated ceiling value in excess of $400 million.
