Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced its U.S. Engineering and Construction Group was awarded two new Air Force task order contracts for construction and renovation work at Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts. The $2.1 million awards were issued under the Versar/Johnson Controls SATOC ID/IQ contract with the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) for sustainment, restoration, and modernization and will be completed in the next 15 months. The scope of work includes the design and construction of airfield sequence flashing lights and Visiting Officers Quarters parking.
