Analysts on average were expecting earnings of 94 cents on revenue of $3.29 billion. Shares of Kellogg stock have fallen 4.7% to $49.10 in pre-market trading.
NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Kellogg ( K) has lowered its full-year earnings per share growth guidance to the range of 8% to 10% vs. 11% to 13% previously, after reporting lower-than-expected earnings and a fall in revenue for the second quarter; reflecting the impact of a cereal recall and challenging business environment.
